Mobility / Fascia / Stretching

Mobility class is a self-care treatment class, using a variety of different modalities from The Roll Model Method, to Zenga, to self-myofascial stretching and release. Through assessing and then reassessing, it will help to increase your body awareness, help relieve tension, aches and pain, and increase your overall wellbeing.

Fascia is strong connective tissue which performs a number of functions including enveloping and isolating the muscles of the body, providing structural support and protection. Through injuries, surgery which create scar tissue, or inactivity, or poor posture, this fascial network can get stuck and rigid. In mobility classes/workshops, we work to release and rehydrate these tissues to help optimize your body’s natural function.

We are also very pleased to offer online Stretch classes. These classes are welcome to all ages and fitness levels for anyone looking to incorporate a little more mobility and stretching into their weekly routines. If you are just getting started in your fitness journey, this is a wonderful way to get used to taking a group fitness program. If you are a seasoned athlete that neglects to take time to work on your flexibility, this will give you the tools you need to improve your game or activity. Or if you are someone who sits at a desk all day, this will be a great way to add some movement to your day. A great way to relieve stress and tension from your muscles and to help improve your posture.
