Pilates Mat Classes
We are so thrilled to be able to offer in person, group Pilates Mat Classes, hosted at Eagle Creek Athletic Club (25 Helmcken Road, Victoria, B.C.)
Pilates is a mind/body practice with benefits that include improved posture, better coordination and balance, increased lung capacity, improved concentration and focus, increased body awareness, stress management, and injury prevention. Pilates Matwork will help you strengthen and lengthen the muscles of your arms and legs while focusing on your core muscles. This is a mixed level class, that has very low impact on the joints. Feel free to bring your own mat or use those provided in the gym.

CIRCL Mobility™ by Zumba is a mobility and flexibility program designed to help you move your body the way it’s intended to. Based on the science of functional movement, CIRCL Mobility™ focuses on flexibility, breathwork, and mobility exercises. In this half hour gentle and low impact mobility class, we will do some breath work and warm up, and then move through some movement sequences that will help improve your functional mobility. We close the class with a flexibility session that will give you some great new stretches. This class will help you reduce stiffness and tension to feel your best, improve balance and focus, and enhance muscle activation and circulation.
