Payment

Payments are due 24 hours before your appointment. Ideally, payments are made via e-transfer or PayPal. There is an additional 5% service charge when paying via PayPal. We do not accept debit or credit cards. Studio 1 Pilates reserves the right to charge a client’s account in the event of a no-show or late cancellation.

 

24-hour Cancellation Policy
Studio 1 Pilates has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy on all private and semi-private sessions as well as group classes, including online Zoom classes and FaceTime appointments. Scheduled appointments may be canceled or rescheduled free of charge when 24 hours notice is given by either phone, email or text. If a session is missed or canceled with less than 24 hours notice, it must be paid in full. For semi-private, if one person cancels ahead of the 24-hour policy, the other party may choose to cancel the same appointment or pay the balance due for a private class. An unforeseen travel/road weather advisory would be the only exception to the 24-hour Cancellation Policy.

 

Fragrances
As a courtesy to those clients with allergies, please avoid the use of strongly scented perfumes.

Attire

Please leave your shoes at the studio entrance. Non-skid socks are preferred for safety and cleanliness, but you may wear regular socks or bare feet. Workout or loungewear is appropriate. To ensure your clothing doesn’t get caught-up in the studio exercise equipment, please consider wearing tight-fitting tops/shorts/leggings.

Cell Phones
Studio 1 Pilates is a private studio which means that if you are taking a private class, you may leave your cell phone on if you prefer. Cell phone use during semi-private classes should be agreed with your training partner, and for the enjoyment of other participants, it is strongly discouraged in group classes.

Pets

Bailey the studio dog may be present during your session, he has a very therapeutic effect.
